This Special Itinerary will start by diving the famed critter sites of Anilao then on to the famed Apo Reef Natural Park (Little Tubbataha) for a day's diving within its 34 square miles of pristine protected reef, the largest continuous reef atoll system in Asia. After an overnight steam to Coron (Little Truk) we have three days to dive the thirteen World War II wrecks there. All are within recreational limits allowing for recreational diving unlike the majority of Philippine wrecks which generally require tech diving or are undivable due to the extreme depth. After three days of fantastic diving we head back toward the resort with a stop for diving at Hunter's Rock an offshore pinnacle rising nearly to the surface know for abundant sea snakes and sharks as well as gorgeous corals and fish life. The following day we disembark in Batangas for an easy transfer back to Manila.
Aboard the well appointed liveaboard, the Atlantis Azores, 16 divers will dive in comfort. The Azores boasts 7 standard cabins and one master suite, available at an additional cost. Two tenders serve the main boat, carrying the divers to and from the dive sites. Nitrox is available on board to prolong your time spent with the magnificent creatures of the Visayan Walls. The Azores also has full camera facilities for those photographers wishing to take advantage of the colorful scenes playing out beneath the waves.
During our time in Coron we will explore world famous wrecks likethe sea plane tender Akitsushima and the Irako. After being down on the bottom for over 70 years, the coral growth and marine life on the wrecks in truly outstanding.
